Every carrier we track

37 companies and residual-market programs. 25 of them currently have at least one dated availability event on file; the rest are tracked so that a change shows up the moment it happens, rather than being noticed late.

A carrier page shows only what a regulator or the company itself published, with the date and the source. Nothing here is a rating, a recommendation, or a claim about price.

Insurers of last resort (4)

State-created programs that write when the private market will not. They are not ordinary competitors and their policy counts are the clearest single measure of how stressed a state's market is.

National writers (15)

Large carriers shown in every state table, so an absence of events is meaningful rather than a gap in our coverage.

Regional and event-linked carriers (18)

Carriers tracked because a specific verified event brought them into the record, most often a state exit, an entry after reform, or an insolvency.
